about me
about me
Hi there! I’m Annie Poletick, a passionate, ambitious fashion and graphic designer from picturesque Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Currently based in Philadelphia, I bring a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a dash of eclectic flair to my work.
From a young age, I showed a penchant for visual arts, inspired early on by the creative atmosphere my parents strived to keep at home. I continued to excel in the arts in school, graduating from Council Rock High School North after completing a dual enrollment program in my senior year, which allowed me to take higher-level art courses at Bucks County Community College and to earn both high school and college credits.
When I wasn’t focusing on my art or my studies, I worked at a local fashion consignment shop as a visual merchandiser, taking charge of coordinating displays, styling mannequins, and assembling trend walls.
I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Fashion Design from Thomas Jefferson University, where I honed my skills in draping, patternmaking, sewing, and technical design. But my journey didn’t stop there—I also had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Rome, Italy. The grandiose history, art, and culture of Rome have profoundly influenced my design aesthetic. My skills and artistic vision allowed me to show two collections and one stand-alone garment on the runway
Post-graduation, I cut my teeth interning at Victoria Wright Made-To-Measure, where I learned the intricacies of bespoke fashion. From measuring tape to needle and thread, from styling clients to working Fashion Week I immersed myself in the world of couture.
My passion extends beyond fabrics and silhouettes. I made a bit of a career pivot into graphic design, creating eye-catching visuals that tell compelling stories. Whether it’s packaging design or brand identity, I thrive on turning ideas into visual masterpieces.
Adobe suite is my playground—I wield Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign like a maestro. Let’s just say pixels and vectors are my jam!
When I’m not behind a screen or a sewing machine, you can find me on the farm, riding my horse, or working part-time as an agency-represented model, which also gives me a unique perspective and a leg-up in the fashion industry.
